BiPAC 2300 BPL Access Head-End Unit provides a cost-effective means of delivering broadband to a large group of users within one building. The BiPAC 2300 R2 Gateway allows for easy installations in neighborhoods, single and multi-dwelling units (MDUs) where the Head-End Unit acts as a head-end unit, extending an existing internet connection (Fiber, ADSL, Satellite, etc.) over a power line, depending on the customer’s requirements and infrastructure.
BiPAC 2200 is a broadband PLC communication repeater, which connects and transfers data over the electric grid from the backbone to the customer’s endpoints. BiPAC 2200 PLC repeater can serve as a back haul channel responsible for collecting and transmitting all data signals to and from BiPAC 2300 R2 Head End located in the Data center. BiPAC 2200 enables multiple broadband power line applications such as Smart Grid, power outage notification, dynamic routing and intelligent repetition, SCADA extension, and surveillance over the power grid, as well as additional future services including Internet, telephony, security alarm, intelligent home control, and video services.
BiPAC 2100 is a broadband PLC communication end-point, which connects and transfers data over the electric grid from the backbone to the customer’s endpoints. The BiPAC 2100 PLC end-point can serve as a back haul channel responsible for collecting and transmitting all data signals to and from BiPAC 2300 R2 Head End located in the Data center directly or BiPAC 2200 repeater located in middle of power grid. Billion BiPAC 2100 enables multiple broadband power line applications such as Smart Grid, power outage notification, dynamic routing and intelligent repetition, SCADA extension, and surveillance over the power grid, as well as additional future services including Internet, telephony, security alarm, intelligent home control, and video services.

In-Building Broadband over Powerline (BPL) Access

BPL access head-end unit (BiPAC 2300) connects to home areas via Fiber network or other first-mile services. The head-end unit distributes BPL signals to BPL access end-point unit (BiPAC 2103/BiPAC 2104) through the power cable. The BPL access end-point unit (BiPAC 2103/BiPAC 2104) can be connected to a home networking router or an Internet gateway to share the Internet connection. End customers also can use a pair of Billion SG2095/BiPAC 2093 R2/BiPAC 2094 R2 In-Home PLC Adapter as a bridge and transfer the broadband signals from living rooms to bedrooms over the existing power line.

The EoC head-end unit (BiPAC 2310) acts as a bridge combing the CATV (Community Antenna Television) and Ethernet signal to deliver the Internet via the standard coaxial in-building distribution system. It is designed to combine CATV signals with Ethernet digital data traffic and delivers to subscriber’s home through the existing coaxial network. The EoC end-point unit (BiPAC 2113) is designed to support a faster and more reliable stream of HD quality of entertainment seamlessly for residential users.
